A flight attendant who was angry about his work route set a fire in the airplane restroom, causing an emergency landing.
The Compass Airlines flight, which carried 72 passengers and four crew members, safely landed in Fargo, North Dakota on May 7 after smoke filled the back of the plane.
Eder Rojas, 19, was in court Thursday, after his arrest Wednesday in Minneapolis, and was held without bail. The charge of setting a fire aboard a civil aircraft is a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
